Yoga Alliance

Yoga Alliance in an internationally recognized organization that maintains teaching standards and requirements for yoga schools and training facilities. We follow the guidelines that are required by Yoga Alliance, and therefore some requirements may be subject to change or be added in order to meet the current standards. Day by day there are more yoga studios and yoga schools, but that doesn't mean they follow current research, standards and teaching methodology that students' need. Yoga Alliance is a measure to keep studios accountable for their teachings. Our College is committed to providing the most up to date information available to students. All of out trainers are Yoga Alliance registered at the 200 RYT, E-RYT and/or 500 hr. level, and continue to study and acquire Continuing Education (CE) to maintain the integrity of our school and our philosophy. Many schools of thought feel it is unnecessary to be "certified" in this ancient practice. However, times are changing and we want to insure the the integrity of our programs and our philosophy.

Purab Paschim© Institute

Purab (East) Paschim (West) brings both worlds together for yoga and spiritual studies. This includes cultural training as well as philosophical training and Yogic training. All of the programs have highly educated teachers in their field. It was founded by, Martena R. Wilson and Bhubneshwari Makharia, so help bridge the gap between the two worlds. Our studios not only study the ancient art of Yoga, we have a real relationship with the country itself. This level of authenticity make Inland Yoga Centers more than just a yoga studio, it makes us a conscious community.

Our philosophy is that yoga has a complete message for society. It has a message for the body, mind and spirit. In some of our programs we offer a "dual certificate program" to enrich the yoga practice with the vast Indian Philosophy and Cultural teachings. By adding this extra area of study, the students are given a wider insight into Yoga and Yoga Practices. This is an approved 200 hour Yoga Alliance certificate program. Students will receive a certificate from Inland College of Yoga for 200 hours together with the Purab-Paschim certification. The dual program runs throughout the year, so keep checking the website for the upcoming trainings.
