India

See yourself here, on the banks of the Ganges, surrounded by thousands of years of yogic study and practice. Isn't that what you are searching for? A deeper understanding of who you are and why you practice. For you, yoga is more than going to your local studio once a week and taking a yoga class. Yoga is an experience in self awareness and knowledge. Yoga is a way of life and a way of self study. Even if you don't want to teach, you know a teacher training program will deepen your own practice. Today, 200hr teacher training programs are in many studios and in most countries.

There is something different about Yoga in India, especially in Rishikesh. Being close to the Ganges, and waking to the sun rising over the hills of the Himalayas is something one must experience in this life. Your practice is deep, but maybe you want to go deeper. Maybe there is something you feel you are on the verge of understanding, could a journey to India help you uncover that?

It could be Hatha Yoga and Surya Namaskar on the banks of the Ganges, or Mantra Yoga as you chant during the Aarti ceremony at sunset. Just walking the streets in Rishikesh, India can be an experience in patience and compassion, the fruits of your practice. This training isn't only about a 200hr certification; you will get that and you will be more than satisfied with the course content. If you want to expereince yoga in all forms, if you want more than just a certificate, if you want something that no piece of paper will give, then this program will interest you.

This training will be more than we can write on the homepage. If you teach yoga, it is only natural that you would want to visit yoga's home. If you don't have any interest in teaching yoga, and want to go further into study, visiting India will make your personal practice rich with knowledge. We want to help people travel to India and experience Yoga study in India. World Yoga Training offers training in Yoga and Indian culture and philosophy. We work closely with the Purab Paschim Institute to ensure our students receive the most authentic style of study and accurate information on our subjects. Our teachers come from U.S. and India and every teacher is an expert in their field. Our students learn where Yoga, in all its forms, has its roots; India.
